This is the best time for developing good habits and identifying areas of natural potential and inclination. At this stage, children have minimal influence from society and friends, making it ideal to conduct career counselling for students to identify their unique strengths. Additionally, children at this age develop a basic understanding of life. However, as they enter puberty, they may face challenges in physiology, psychology, and academics.
At this critical time, students can benefit greatly from career guidance for students to ensure they don’t get lost among the vast array of academic subjects, avoiding “directionless hard work.” We provide direction in academics, parenting tips, discussions on behavioral issues, and planning (academic and non-academic). Our program also addresses physiological and psychological changes while offering motivation to overcome obstacles.
Process Followed:
The interaction, lasting 45–60 minutes, can be conducted with or without parents.
If the team at BYC finds the interaction suitable, the child can be enrolled for a detailed psychometric assessment.

Process Followed:Our career guidance for students in secondary schools is a unique two-step process:
Step 1 – Offline OR Online:
- 5-6 Hours (11 AM – 5:00 PM) in-depth analysis through pen-and-paper assessment tests and a parallel, but separate, 1-hour interaction and questionnaire for parents.
- Preparation of a 32-page Career Assessment Report by a panel of career counselors, taking 7 days.
Step 2 – Offline or Online:
- A one-hour one-to-one career counselling for students session with the student and parents, conducted by a certified career counsellor.
- Follow-up calls/meetings to resolve any issues that arise after counseling.
USP – CCP involves very deep analysis through a full day of offline/online career assessment tests, followed by a one-hour one-to-one counseling session. Parents are equally involved, although confidentiality is maintained. This is not a 1-2 hour process but a detailed, authentic, and scientific one.
